A significant share of that funding went to automobile manufacturers and suppliers to that industry for dry room development and dry room construction of facilities for the manufacture of battery packs for hybrid battery operated vehicles.

Unified Cleanroom Construction personnel have experience in numerous insulated wall and ceiling systems such as Danica, Kingspan, Portafab, and Fire rated panels such as Advanced Insulation Concepts. We have experience and are proficient in the full architectural installation of all your required components for dry room construction including:
- Modular Walls, Windows, Doors, and Grills
- Ceiling systems, Plenum Modules, Walk on plenums, and Diffusers
- HEPA Air Purifiers and Housings
- Air Showers and Clean Curtains
- Dry room Certification
When constructing a Lithium Ion Battery Plant, a portion of the facility is required to be dry and/or clean. Several Lithium Ion battery assembly steps require cleanroom assembly and/or cleaning areas and packaging areas due to the need to insure the substrates do not add or contribute contamination to the process. Because of the reactive nature of the moisture in the air during the lithium battery manufacturing, most lithium battery require a dry room. The specific requirements for each dry room varies the dry room but lieky will have something near to the following parameters:
- Class 10,000 (ISO Class 7) to Class 1000 (ISO Class 6)
- <1% to 10% Relative Humidity
- Dew Point of -40 to -50 degrees Fahrenheit or lower
