History of Unified Family of Companies
Unified is a diverse company with two unique business ventures; Unified Cleanroom Construction, LLC, and Unified Building Systems. Unified Cleanroom Construction, LLC has become a leader in the cleanroom construction. Unified Building Systems has long been a significant force in the construction of Cold Storage facilities.
Unified Building Systems was founded by Rich Schoenberg, President and Managing Partner, with one small crew in 1993 when he set out to create a full-service low-temperature construction company. He developed professional crews 
and a management team that implemented the highest standards of integrity, performance, and reliability. As a result Unified Building Systems quickly became well known throughout the Chicago area for providing high quality structures at competitive prices. Unified Building Systems experienced great growth and soon began to construct cold storage buildings nationwide. Throughout this growth process Unified Building Systems continued to develop relationships that have passed the test of time.
In 1998 Unified expanded in to the Cleanroom construction. A new branch of the company was created called Unified Cleanroom Construction, LLC. Unified Cleanroom
