Unified’s Safety Management Program

With safety a foremost priority, Unified Building Systems has developed a dynamic approach to safety with a comprehensive Safety Management Program. Designed to instill in all team members a strong awareness of safe jobsite practices, the key components to Unified Building Systems’ safety program are:

• Our Safety strategy begins with clearly defined Safety Policies. All employees and subcontractors are required to follow the policies which are outlined in the Unified Building Systems’ Company Safety Manual. These policies meet or exceed industry standards and apply to a wide range of situations which may arise in the pursuit of our business. Unified Building Systems’ safety program encompasses many topics including hazard awareness, emergency preparedness and site-specific protection plans.
• Unified Building Systems has continual communication of Safety Policies where Safety awareness is reinforced throughout the entire workforce. Safety orientation meetings are held for all employees at each new job site, along with weekly jobsite safety meetings and ongoing equipment training programs as the project progresses.
• Maintaining a safe work environment is every employee’s responsibility. The jobsite superintendent leads the safety team. Procedures and accident prevention measures are monitored by our safety coordinator, who oversees safety policies and practices at all Unified Building Systems job sites.
